A young girl from Ben Hill. Homeless at 15. Married at 17 and an instant step-mother. Growing up in the 70s, Summer found herself on a continuous search for attention and acceptance.  Butterflies & Lemonade chronicles Summer's journey through child sexual abuse, domestic abuse, and ultimately resilience. Based on a true story, Summer Heat reveals the bad decisions she made along the way, and the price she paid because of them. Through it all, Heat learns about the nuances of life and finally manages to find happiness. Heat's truth is her personal vow to stop the abuse she endured from reaching another generation.
