Awona LaShon Love founded Anowa Foundation Inc. SaSumthing! who's mission is to help the community to become more aware of the affects and the signs of child sexual abuse. One of my missions is to travel annually to SaSumthing all over the world. By promoting awareness it will increase the success of rehabilitating more victims/survivors by providing Life Coaching services that will help build self confidence. All participants are given a T-shirt and journal (to document their new journey). I desire a meeting space, temporary housing for victims/survivors, transportation, refurbishment tools to making old items new (i.e. chairs, headboards, lamps etc.) to create a peaceful space to assist with rehabilitation revaluing self worth, financial assistance sponsoring a minimum of 5 victims around the world annually and Spanish lessons to communicate on the Mission Trip. 

 

 

Being a two time survivor of child sexual abuse I can relate to the child who never told and being a mother whose child was sexually abused by her biological father that missed the signs. Therefore, I have vowed to walk alongside victims and speak to those whom may not know.
